An MP visited a state-of-the-art design center which is only the third of its kind in the world.
Victoria Prentis, MP for North Oxfordshire, recently visited the new Mahindra Advanced Design Europe (MADE) design center on the Mahindra campus in Banbury.
Ms Prentis was visited by MADE’s Design Director, Pratap Bose, and Design Director, Cosimo Amadei, who showed her the state-of-the-art design facilities they have installed.
Ms Prentis said: “During the tour, I had the pleasure of meeting their brilliant team of 30 staff, many of whom were recruited locally.
“This studio is only Mahindra’s third in the world and will be the main design center for their Born Electric range of e-SUVs.
“I was very lucky to get a glimpse of the SUV prototypes, which only launched on Monday.

“CEO and team director Dilbagh Gill and CFO Chandrashekhar Joshi showed me around the facility’s many design spaces and workshops.
“I was also shown different generations of their Formula E car, and the many components that go into them.
“A real treat was seeing their racing simulators used by the drivers in preparation for the Seoul ePrix.
“It’s great to see Mahindra investing and developing Banbury.”
